Bereavement Ministry
You do not have to walk through grief alone.
We are sorry for your loss. When you call, you are welcome to tell us about the person who died. People of all faiths are welcome here.
Led by people who know this loss.
Our facilitators have suffered their own losses, and they want to bring comfort and support to others who are grieving.
Each has completed a training program at the Archdiocesan Center in Newark and is certified as a Bereavement Support Group Facilitator.
What you will find
- A safe place where emotional needs are met and the pain of loss is understood, in confidence
- Information for those coping with loss
- Compassion and hope for the spiritual and emotional needs of the grieving
Support groups
Eight consecutive Tuesdays, in spring and fall, in the Good Shepherd Room.
Morning: 10:00–11:30 AM
Evening: 7:30–9:00 PMPlease contact the ministry in advance to register or confirm dates. The fall 2026 groups began September 15.
Bereavement Support Night
Second Wednesday of each month, September through June, 7:00–8:30 PM, in the Good Shepherd Room.
